Did You Know?

Termites cost an average of 3.4 billion dollars in the U.S. alone based on prevention, control, and repair costs.

Our Solution?

Top quality, effective, long lasting treatments. A treatment plan will be designed by one of our specialists that is tailored to the degree of infestation your home has.

The Initial Step

Termite Inspection

A thorough inspection is highly recommended to asses the type of termites your
property has, where they are located, and how extensive the infestation is.
Areas the inspector looks at:

  • Window Frames
  • Attic
  • Crawl Space
  • Roof Eves
  • Anything of Wood Excluding Furniture
  • Sidings
  • Patio / Decks / Porches
  • Garage
  • Door Frames

At no additional charge, our inspectors will also check for

  • Fungus
  • Dry-Rot
  • Wet-Rot
  • Water stains
  • Wood damage
  • Any condition that can lead to future termite infestation

At the end of the inspection, recommendations will be given to you based on the circumstances i.e tenants, limited access, budget, etc..
Once written up, a termite report will be given to you which will state the findings in your home as well as the recommendations and quote.

The Second Step

This method is recommended when there are dry wood termites in the property. When the infestation is minimum, or if fumigation is not possible, a local treatment is performed, which is a method of injecting TermidorTM directly into the wood by drilling and patching the wood in a local area. When there is exposed wood, such as attics or crawlspace, a broad spray with TermidorTM which is absorbed by the wood and directly affects the termites as well. We offer one to three year warranty on this method of treatment. This method does not affect subterranean termites.

Fumigation is performed when there is an excess amount of dry-wood termites in the property or if the termite infestation is going into inaccessible areas such as behind the drywall, or in acute attic corners. During the process, VikaneTM is injected and the structure is tented for two nights. This method ensures ALL dry-wood termites in the structure will be affected, even the termites hiding behind the walls. We offer two to three years warranty on this method of treatment. This method does not affect subterranean termites. Read More

When subterranean termites are found at the property, a subterranean treatment is performed. Since subterranean termites live in the dirt, or soil, TermidorTM is injected directly into the soil. Given though, many homes do not have soil underneath the structure and do not have to worry about subterranean termites. But for those who do, if the subarea is easily accessible, a trench and treat method is performed. Trench and Treat involves creating a trench by digging the soil, and injecting the chemical in the soil, so that the soil can easily absorb the chemical.

If the soil is not easily accessible, or covered by cement, a drill and treat method is performed. By drilling into the cement, it creates a pathway to directly treat the soil. Once done, the technician seals the holes. We offer one to three years warranty on this method of treatment. This method does not affect dry-wood termites.

The preventative treatment is recommended after the initial treatment, or if there is no active termites infestation found in the property, the preventative treatment is recommended to keep it like that. The preventative treatment is performed as a broad spray to reach all accessible wood areas, but since the preventative treatment is an active chemical for about 5 years, it can only be sprayed in attics and subareas.

In almost all cases, if there is wet-rot there is also fungus. Fungus can be found in low ventilated areas, mainly in subareas and attics, but also underneath the sink cabinets. To keep it from spreading, scraping off the fungus and discarding is necessary as well as treating the area.

The Third Step

Termites are one of the few insects that can severely damage a home, especially the foundation (subarea). Not only is it important to get rid of the termites, but also repair the damage they have caused. This will help prevent new termite from re-infesting your home later rather than sooner. If not repaired, the damaged wood would be as a furnished home for the new termites, and begin damaging the home where the last colony left off. Repairs for wet-rot or dry-rot is also important since it can lead to future infestation for termites. A quote may be given for repairs if requested. We offer 30 days warranty on all repairs, as well as prime and color match any wood we repair or replace. Read More
